- Congratulations on your purchase of the FLCS Stick!! You have
- in your possesion a extremely powerful tool that has no equal in the
- computer simulation market. Please take the time to get to know the FLCS
- and all that it can do. The learning curve can be steep so take your
- time. Get to know the basic features and then move on to the more advanced
- features. To help you learn what the FLCS is capable of, we have put
- together a comprehensive manual. Don't be put off, this puppy
- (the FLCS not the manual) can do amazing things.
-
- Some text files you will find in this directory include:
-
- README.TXT - This text you are currently reading.
-
- BOOTCAMP.TXT - This is the instruction manual for a boot utility
- that will allow you to boot from a varirty of different
- AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files. Please read this file
- before you attempt to use BOOTCAMP.
-
- B50HELP.TXT - This is actually the help file that can be accessed
- from the Commmand & Control Center. It is a text file of
- the Owner's Manual.
-
-
- In the UTILS directory you will find:
-
- UTILS.TXT - Read this first for information on how to
- unzip the files.
-
- AW_SB.ZIP - Air Warrior B50 and M50 files by Stu Butts.
- Documentation is also included.
-
- TMBBS.TXT - A text file of BBSs where you can find
- ThrustMaster Support.
-
- TMDIST.TXT - A list of distributors that handle
- ThrustMaster products.
-
- TMSTICK.COM - Used to set the dead zone in your flight stick.
-
- RAWCODES.TXT - A text file with a full layout of the keyboard
- scan codes available.
-
- TN-0001.TXT - A text file containing Adavanced Programming
- Techniques.
-
-
- While you tool around in the C&CC you may find that you courpt the TM.CFG
- file. If this happens, type "RESET" at the TM prompt. It will restore
- your TM.CFG file to its orginial configuration.
-
- Please note that the toggles allowed have been changed. You are allowed
- to toggle up to 64 times on each of a maximum of eight buttons. (Not Hats).
- Don't try this at home.
-
- Also note that when "REM" commands are used in B50 files that the
- "REM" MUST be proceeded and followed by an empty space!! The "REM" at
- a beginning of a line is acceptable as long as is has a space after it.
-
- There is also a program called GAMEPORT.EXE on this disk. It is a
- diagnostic program that will tell if the port a joystick is connected
- to is active or not. If you have a suspect joystick port on your machine,
- hook up a joystick to it and run GAMEPORT. It will try and find the
- joystick. PLEASE make sure you have only ONE active joystick port.
-
- As you learn the FLCS complexities you will find the manual very
- useful. There is an index to help you find help on all topics.
- If you have questions, help can be found on Compuserve, AOL, GEnie, Delphi
- InterNet Newsgroups, Email - techsupp@thrustmaster.com, and a number of
- other on-line services. Technical and Developer Support can also be
- reached by calling 503-639-3200.
-
-
- Thanks again for your support.
